Ferrari is a company Italian manufacturer of racing cars and sports, founded by Enzo Ferrari in 1929. Originally, the Scuderia Ferrari sponsored drivers and cars to Alfa Romeo and Fiat. The company began to produce car series in 1947. He became Ferrari SpA in 1969 when the Fiat Group came to be part of the Board of Directors and became a shareholder of the company. Currently the main shareholder: the Fiat group with 90%. 5% of the shares has been purchased in 2005 by a UAE company, the rest is the son of Ferrari, Piero. The company is based in Maranello, near Bologna and Modena, Italy. In 2005 Ferrari sold 5409 cars with a sales increase of 8.7%.
