And, as Jesus said to his audience in Luke 15 , every time someone is rescued, there's a party in heaven. "I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety and nine just persons who need no repentance" (Luke 15:7 ).

rejoiced Is heaven because you were rescued? If so, join the ranks of those who reach lost souls with the saving grace of Jesus.

Reflection: When you have been saved, you want to rescue others.

"Bless the Lord, you his angels" Psalm 103:20

was talking to some children about God and superheroes, when Tobias asked a question. This five-year-old, very imaginative, he said to anyone listening: "Does God have a helper as was Hercules. " His older brother, seven years old and wiser, he immediately replied: "Yes, it has thousands. They are His angels. "

Angels are a popular topic of debate and people think a lot of myths about them. For example, some people pray to the angels because they think they are at the same level of God. Others believe that at death, people become angels. But here's what the Bible, our authority, teaches

• God created the angels (Colossians 1:15-17 ).

• The angels worship God (Nehemiah 9:6 ) and are known by the following terms: archangel (Jude 1:9 ) cherubim (2 Kings 19:15 ) and Seraphim (Isaiah 6:1-3 ).

• Serve the people of God (Hebrews 1:13-14 ) guarded and protected ( Psalm 91:9-12).

• God assigned special tasks ( Matthew 1:20; Luke 1:26).

• God's angels rejoice when we repent and come to Christ to be saved (Luke 15:7,10 ).

God alone deserves our worship. Therefore, let us join the angels to sing praises to Him!

Reflection: The angels are God's special helpers.

HELPERS OF GOD IS GOOD? CORRECT INFORMATION

Reading: Philippians 4:4-7 .

"And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" Philippians 4:7

While the youth choir was preparing to sing classic hymn by Horatio G. Spafford, "It is well with my soul," one of them stepped forward to tell the story of the famous song. Spafford wrote while in a boat near the site in the sea where his four daughters died.

As I listened that introduction, followed by the words sung by the young, a flood of emotions came over me. Upon hearing the expressions of faith Spafford, I found it difficult to understand the phrase "where his four daughters died." In my case, having suddenly lost a daughter, the idea of \u200b\u200blosing four seems unimaginable.

How could that be "good" for Spafford, in the midst of your pain? On hearing the words "if peace like a river here is my portion," remember where you can find peace. In Philippians 4, Paul says he can be when we raise our prayers to God in heart (v. 6 ). By praying with confidence, alleviated our soul, we get rid of anxiety and untie the bonds of our distress. Then we can obtain "peace of God" (v. 7 ), a calmness of spirit divine and inexplicable. This peace is beyond our ability to understand the circumstances which we live ( v. 7), and through Jesus, acts as a defense that protects our hearts so that we can whisper, still in pain: "It is well with my soul. "

Reflection: Jesus never wrong.

Changing The Plot In Adaptations

Reading: 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 .

"Neither we, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, [...] like the others who have no hope" 1 Thessalonians 4:13

for fifteen minutes the plane took off when the pilot announced that the aircraft had a serious problem and that the crew was trying to analyze what it was. Shortly afterwards, announced that it had a vibration and that we should return to the airport. Then, the hostess gave a series of detailed explanations to clarify what happened and what would happen as we landed. In a situation that could have been terrifying, fears of the passengers were appeased because they had the correct information.

In the first century, a group of believers at Thessalonica feared their loved ones who were believers and who had died, they would have been lost forever and the second coming of Christ. For that reason, Paul wrote: "Neither we, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope" (1 Thessalonians 4:13 ). The comforting words of the apostle were intended to calm their fears by giving them the right information, which marked the whole difference. Although they were saddened by the loss, they could still hope to meet again in the future with those who had believed in Christ.

When we lose someone, we also can find comfort and hope, because the Bible given the correct information.

Reflection: Death is not an endpoint, but only a comma.
