Reading: 1 Corinthians 1:10-17 .
"I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and no divisions among you" 1 Corinthians 1:10

This was happening in the Corinthian church, which is why Paul spent some time to discuss the divisive spirit that had developed in that congregation. That spirit was threatening the unity of the church. The apostle, as a pastor that encourages action, encouraged the Corinthians to agree on fundamental principles and not divided by minor issues. People were fighting because they sided with different leaders religious, such as Paul, Apollos, Peter and even Christ. By creating these divisions, care more for their favorite leader unity in Christ.
Paul said that the basic element that should unite the church is the preaching of the gospel. This should be our goal.
Reflection: A united church is a strong church.
