So who is right? Let's see what the writer says Ecclesiastes . He should know! It was a really rich man ( 2:8) and had the means to test everything in this world ... And certainly did! However, concluded that all was "vanity and vexation of spirit, and no profit under the sun" (v. 11 ).

lasting satisfaction comes from having no tangible things like a savings account or property. Recent events have shown that these things can suddenly lose their value. To find True happiness, we must look for in someone that is not "under the Sun." And that is Jesus, our Savior.

When I was a teenager, I went with my dad, my uncles and cousins \u200b\u200bto fish trout in the headwaters of the Sacramento River in California. This river is the result of melting snow, so the water was rushing, clear, cold and refreshing. My cousins \u200b\u200band I could not resist getting into the icy stream while we were fishing rainbow trout.

The prophet Amos uses the metaphor of a stream of water to illustrate the transforming power of justice. He noted that the people of God was stuck in the stagnant pool of injustice to others, when they needed was a life marked by "justice as a mighty stream."
